A crossover with 4x4 off-road capabilities that uses both electric and gas power, the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV claims to be one of the world's first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle with DC Fast Charging. While the current model will only go 22 miles in electric mode, the upcoming 2021 refresh is rumored to have a bigger engine, bigger battery and more powerful electric motor for an electric-only range of up to 40 miles.
